Srinagar’s main attraction, the Dal Lake and the network
of waterways with Jhelum and Nagin Lake is no less beautiful
then the well laid Mugal Gardens, enhancing the beauty of
the already beautiful city. And on the placid waters of the
Dal are moored what are modestly called the houseboats

Day-1
Proceed
for Srinagar by air from Jammu or Delhi.
Noon
– relax trying to digest the celestial touch of nature.
Evening-explore
the Dal with its lotus fields & floating gardens in the
smooth sailing “Shikaras”.
Day-2
After
morning break fast, a half day local sightseeing tour
includes the Mughal Garden - Nishat, Shalimar and
Chashmeshahi. The beauty of the radiant flowers, Chinars and
Willows will leave a permanent impact on you. Then the same
road takes you to the famous holy shrine - Hazratbal, a
domed mosque of white marble where a hair of Prophet
Mohammed is preserved. Another sight worth visiting is the
Shankracharya temple atop a hill from where you get a
bird’s eye view of the spectacular city.
Lunch
- at your floating palace.
Afternoon
– Shikara ride – making you feel like sailing on a
swan’s back! The “colorful swans” will take you to
Nehrupark, Swimming boat, (facility of water skiing are
available here) Kabutar khana, Char-chinar and floating
gardens.
